Im in the process of taking mine apart and altering it. First I have to fix where you plug in the headphones though. I only hear one side unless I bend the headphone jack a little. It should be an easy fix though. My only bitch about this player was with the speakers...its a bit bulky and heavy. But makes up for it with the GREAT sound quality going to your headphones and the loudness and clarity of the slide out speakers. Amazon has them for CHEAP! GO GET ONE..... OR FOUR!!

Had this player for about 1.5 years but it broke down the second time now (just does not switch on again), I switched to the Sony NWZ series. These players are great. Audioquality-wise they are equal but the Samsung does not play any videos :-( Besides, the Sony displays album covers and additional song information. However, the Samsung does look more stylish....but I expected a bit more quality for the price.

The broad recording features are versitile. Though sometimes I don't want to record the show. I would like to use the a preset Auto Tune feature that reminds me of the upcoming show and auto changes the channel for me whether I'm near the TV or not in the room. This was a feature DirecTV offered. I really miss it.

lmao seriously. If u want a camera, buy something specifically for that purpose. If a camera was on the p2, the ratings for it would drop from a 9ish 10, to a 4, because the quality of the pictures from the camera would probably bomb the whole p2.

the ipod and the P2 is like the PS3 and the xbox 360. the ipod is the ps3 and the P2 is the xbox 360. the ps3 is over rated, too expensive and lies about the amount of power it has (or it doesnt show). i got the P2 bout a week ago and believe me, dont judge till u try it, cuz the vidoes dont show you everything, and yes i have tried the ps3 and it sucks badly, it lags loads, it takes ages to load and the rendering is bad, which i rather play 360 and Wii

i love how samsung always competes against apple items :P like there was the Samsung Yp-Z5 vs Ipod Nano and now theres the Ipod Touch vs Samsung P2, idk about you guys but im sansung all the way!! btw, ive had my Samsung Yp-Z5for almost 3 years now ( silver) the black ones tend to break within the first year, but my silver one, all scratched up, dropped, and everything. Glitches once and awhile but overall, works like a charm ^^. Battery life is more than 9 hours, still!

@papaa7x The P2 is a bit older now but is still a great MP3 player. You can sync music using the included software (Emodio), Windows Media Player or as a standard USB device (drag/drop support). The Samsung P3 is its replacement but has similar features and sound quality.

Well the product has been around for a while now. If your sure you want this product then I would recommend the new version, the Samsung P3. I'm not sure which retailers carry the P3 but I imagine it would be easier to find than a new P2.

I don't get why these are compared. I have used both and for Music and Video, YP-P2 just blows the Itouch away. I wish it (YP-P2) had a built in Speaker though. But the Itouch, more customizable, and has a lot more features; such as Apps, Wi-Fi Web Searching, Brighter screen, and Built-in Speaker is better for on the go. But for the price, and over-time price for Apps and Music just makes it way to expensive. Also, ITouch doesn't support Flash. The New YP-P3 blows the touch away.
