One problem i see with this is that that plastic case won't give you any radio wave shielding, so a mobile phone put next to it could be a problem and the radiation from the pc could disturb audio equipment. @patpat070 i made myself one using one of there kits and there fantastic might i add and the fans are still functional and no performance lost and it has been about a year now but i would recomend if you are going to do this to add a filter to the pumps i used an petrol fuel filter from a small go cart as it is the same pipe size and that collects anything that gathers in the oil such as dust or any paricles that manage to get into the tank best of luck if you choose to make one :)

You can erase the data from the hard disk before recycling so you don't need to break it down. Disks are delicate and a lot of their parts can easily be reused... The "mystery" behind this "undeleting the data is that when you erase the data in windows, windows erases the addresses to the actual data on the disk while data remains. If you screw windows and full format the hard drive, all addresses, data and alocation table will be empty.. Full format is also healthy for your hard drive...

The key thing about silicon is that by adding addition elements into it, called -dopants or impurities- you can change the electrilcal properties of the material. You can make it easier to conduct electricity (by adding atoms with extra electrons) or harder (by adding atoms with too few electrons).

I still don't really understand how the silicon chip keeps from shorting itself out, or how the whole chip isn't electrified all at once when the silicon that is doing the work, is also the base (or frame if you will) that the chip is made out of. I understand how a transistor works, but if the "wires", frame, "switch", indeed everything, is all made out of the same material, what keeps the current going in the same direction, and not just electrifying the whole chip at once?

@azeemiqbal123 First thing to do is to move to Korea or Taiwan. Most of the silicon chip foundries have been moved out of the USA. Second is to get several billion dollar worth of investment to start something like this. Third, just plan for a complete failure because the silicon industry is already well established and no new comer can beat the existing giants. You can't profit much until you can drastically reduced production cost when something have already become a commodity.

Many things can cause your computer to bog down like that -- it could need more RAM or a bigger hard drive, or it may not have a fast enough processor, or a good enough video card, or if it's an Internet-based game, your connection may be slow, or you could have a virus or it's even possible the antivirus program is "confused" and trying to defend against the game. Blue screens can be caused by a variety of problems. It is possible (and this is an educated guess since I am not able to examine the computer myself) your PC may have bad RAM -- the actual part may be bad. On the other hand, it could be a driver issue, or something else; I really can't say without checking it out myself. Hope that makes sense.

Again, it's like a tabletop or work bench -- a space the computer needs to do its work. Think of taking a book off a shelf and placing it on a table to read it -- that is like when your computer loads a Word document off of your hard drive into memory. When it's done it "puts the book back" so to speak.

Yes, you probably can save documents (like Word documents, pictures, music, etc.) if it has the free space. Some companies use a second "partition" (most likely, drive E: is not a second physical drive, but a section or partition of the only hard drive in the computer) for the restore information, so you want to be careful not to disturb that in case you need to restore to factory settings in the future. But otherwise, it's probably fine.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. YouTube limits people to 10 minutes per video, so I wouldn't be able to put them all in one. Aside from that, people learn best in short lessons, which is an important principle I follow with my training and so I wouldn't combine them all in one for that reason, either. All of my computer terminology lessons that are on YouTube, plus others are available on my site. Oh, and I don't have any videos on technical writing, sorry. :)

Thenewboston, good videos but make sure your information is 100% correct first. If you are a beginner to networking, your best is to buy a CCNA book. Thenewboston knows a little about networking (very broad) but his examples are not 100% accurate.
