Those selfish leaders of Europe, America and Gulf countries(UAE, Kuwait etc), Asia( Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea and Japan) were the ones that managed to elevate the living standards of their people and bring about very positive change such as security, medicine, economic growth, technological advancement and modern infrastructure. So this old mentality of a good leader might be applicable in the stone ages but not anymore

What I think about when I watch this is that in spite of all the different camera angles and edits (most of which you don't notice, which shows how well they shot this and put it together), the monologue hangs together coherently. Every sentence, every idea flows into the next. Think of all the different shots and edits, the huge number of takes that must have been shot - and it's seamless. The sound of rain that runs all through the scene helps knit it all together, though you barely notice it.

Great ideas,...but boring presentation! I agree with the ideas, but just simplicifies 'em! For religous reason, toothbrush made from the cow's tail might sell enourmously in India with 1.16 billion population. You don't need any high technology or leadership to creat those toothbrush. The Tata Nano is one of the examples on how Tata's company adapt to the demand of the people of India. Knowing what the people might want is as important as what the people need.

Although I'm voting for Huck because he's awesome, the fair tax is really a regressive tax. We try to eliminate unfairness in the tax system but really, with a fair tax the poor will be paying a higher percentage of their incomes than the rich. (P.S. Huckabee is still awesome)

I think Mike is bigger than any of the ads I've seen. The way he wants to handle the issues that face us is why I'm supporting him. I don't support him because he is a Christian, but because he is leveling with us. He is running at a time when we need him. I may not be the typical atheist -- many are stubbornly liberal. first! I love it everytime Eric Schmidt speaks. I'm so glad YouTube gives me the opportunity to do so. Eric Schmidt to me is like E.F. Hutton. When he speaks, I stop and listen. I always come away with more insight, knowledge and intellectual stimulation with each speech he gives. To pick up on Steve's question, I'm convinced that strategic listening includes the skill to direct the person's attention towards relevant information (such as what the customer actually wants). But the most central skill is simply to shut up and listen - including shutting up your own internal chatter, which is where the interruptions tend to come from.
