This is the epitome of his live performances. Deadmau5 obviously has talent. But in this performance he's only using a laptop, Xone:4D, Lemur and an EFX-1000. There is no MIDI sampler/sequencer, so he's just mixing and adding effects to tracks from Ableton Live. I'm getting the idea that when he uses the NI Maschine it's for effects and the Monome for limited sample launching and looping. I'd do the same thing though.

It seems to me to be a much more abstract song, like virtually every album David Bazan has been associated with, about the passivity that has been created in the relations between people. This is the best movie of the year! God, I was crying like the baby and laughing at the same time..incredible. This players all brought unique personalities here, so when that was put together it just made a great combination. I liked this, when every acter in the movie contributed their own style of humor during the every new scene. This makes this easy to relate to for many of viewers. Excellent!! The top one.
